| Here at A Moment in Time we have been in business for
the past 15
years. Due to our love for antiques we decided to learn how to
restore them. At first we began working on the Antique furniture
and frames. We learned how to repair veneer, make many replacement
parts, and to apply a good quality finish using antique compatible
materials. Developing the knowledge to restore the antique frames
involved many hours of independent research; videos, small articles,
experimentation, etc. Later we purchased a system for re-silvering the mirrors, buying the professional specialty guns from a defunct re-silverer. We have now been doing this for 12 years and have done mirrors for people as far away as England, France, South Africa and the South Pacific. We also have various Antiques and used furniture for sale. Some are restored, some are as is. We can finish or repair to order items you are interested in. We are located in Wellington Kansas, but also serve Wichita extensively for the regional business such as furniture repair and sales. |
